### How do I get access to the VayaPin API?

Upgrade to a Pro or higher subscription, then open the API page in your VayaPin Dashboard to activate your API subscription and generate your first access token. Free-tier accounts cannot generate tokens or make API calls.

### Where do I create API access tokens?

In the VayaPin Dashboard, open the API page and click "Create new access token". Give it a descriptive name (e.g. my-app-prod) so you can identify it later. You can create multiple tokens for different projects or environments and revoke them individually at any time.

### Can I view my token after it has been created?

No — for security reasons, the raw token is displayed only once, immediately after creation. Copy it and store it somewhere safe, such as an environment variable or a secrets manager. VayaPin stores tokens in encrypted form and cannot retrieve the value again. If you lose it, revoke it from the Dashboard and create a new one.

### Which subscription tier is required for API access?

API access requires a Pro or higher subscription. Free-tier accounts cannot generate tokens or make API calls. You can upgrade or manage your subscription directly from the Dashboard.

### How long does my API token stay valid?

Tokens have no fixed expiry date — they remain valid for as long as your Pro or higher subscription is active. If your subscription lapses, API calls will be rejected until you renew. Reactivating your subscription instantly restores access to all existing tokens.

### What data does the VayaPin API return?

The API provides the full public profile of any VayaPin: verified GPS coordinates and formatted address, business name, contact details, social media links, opening hours, file attachments, images, and SEO metadata (title, description, Open Graph tags). Ideal for form autofill, address validation, delivery routing, and customer data enrichment.

### How can I learn to use the API?

### Can I use the API in production applications?

Yes — the API is designed for production use. Authenticate each request with your Bearer token, respect rate limits, and handle 401 responses gracefully (token revoked or subscription lapsed). You can maintain separate tokens per environment and revoke any of them from the Dashboard without affecting others.
